As you know, Antony Worrall Thompson has long been engaged in a search for the Holy Grail of British meat, and has been inundated with farmers wanting to support his cause. The culmination of this is the opening of his new restaurant, Notting Grill, in the hope of creating the best grill house in London, using the crème de la crème of meat & fish. The Three Hares
They take food seriously at this country pub set in a quiet village not far from York, and it's apparent as soon as you walk in. The restaurant, with beamed roof, stone floor, white table cloths, gleaming glasses and evening candles is striking. The Three Hares level of cuisine and hospitality surpassed Les Routiers entry standards and so they were awarded as North East Inn of the Year in 2001 after recommendations from both Les Routiers independant assessment team and members of the public.
